The enclosure is 33.5m wide x 18m deep (110ft x 60ft) and houses an upgraded pool and patio / bar. The retractable roof enclosure opens up from the beachfront back towards the hotel. The newly updated Rooftop deck is the latest in a series of renovations to the hotel and opened in Summer 2022 for guests. The upper level pool deck has been transformed with a new glass retractable roof enclosure made entirely from corrosion resistant aluminum, new luxury furniture, TVs and a bar. Being a costal location meant that any structure would need to be corrosion free. The existing rooftop pool was covered with a seasonal cover that has succumbed to the harsh interior aquatic conditions and salty air from the adjacent Atlantic Ocean.
